In starting my own business as a single mother. I used my own money. It became overwhelming. It was draining my personal bank account. I applied for business credit and funding just to be turned down. It left me feeling helpless, defeated and powerless. At times it brought me to tears with mixed emotions, that included sadness, doubtful, and determined just to name a few of them. But I knew there had to be an answer to the challenge I was facing. So, I looked and I searched and yes, I got bits and pieces but not enough to get real funding for my business. This process was exhausting and started to keep me up at nights. It left me feeling helpless and limited on taking my business to the next level or even keeping my business going. Since, I was using my own funds and personal credit it started to put pressure on my personal life. It effected my personal credit score in a negative way and my personal bank account. Then I invested in myself and investing in myself I came across the missing pieces to the puzzle to keep my business going and to even take it to the next level. It took the pressure off of my personal finances and personal credit. What a relief! Now, I was able to build my business credit and get funding that my business so desperately needed. My personal credit score went back up and my personal bank account was no longer being drained. What a breath of fresh air. I could breathe and see the light. Investing in myself and my business was the best thing I could have ever done! Now, I am on a journey of showing others how to invest in themselves and their business to ensure their business that get the credit and funding that their business need which is a recipe for a successful business.
